<p><strong>Mammography Technologist</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Medical City for Military and Security Services</p><p>Muscat, Sultanate of Oman</p><p><br></p><p>The Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSS) in Muscat Oman is a Tertiary/Quaternary Care level city providing services to patients of different age groups in different specialties.</p><p><br></p><p>MCMSS is seeking to appoint Mammography Technologist who is well trained and highly motivated individual to develop her/his professional career within the MCMSS.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Education/Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li> Bachelor in Medical Imaging</li><li>Post Qualification in Mammogram Imaging</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Experience Post-Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li> At least 3 years.</li><li>Valid BLS course</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Duties/Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li> Operate the mammography unit to produce images of the breast for diagnostic purposes under direction of physician.</li><li>Explain the procedure to patients’ position and immobilize the patient’s breast in unit.</li><li>Comply with radiation safety measures and protection devices.</li><li>Involve in working in different sections of radiology department.</li><li>Interested in healthcare education and teaching the allied healthcare professionals.</li><li>On-call as per regulations of the department.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Salary will be based upon qualifications, experience and available vacancies, using Oman Medical Bylaw.</p><p>Interested candidates should apply with CV and letter of interest via the APPLY button.</p>
