You may support work related to conducting routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.<p><br></p>As a Supervisor, you will be involved in managing work teams in a division, along with technical and financial resources of the team. You will coach your direct reports on day-to-day activities. and be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise.<p><br></p>It is your hard work and focus that will make Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.<p><br></p><strong>How You Will Achieve It</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage multiple projects/ongoing work activities (timelines, work plans, deliverables) of moderate complexity within an Operating Unit. </li><li>Oversee the repair and maintenance of all facility equipment including plant utilities, manufacturing equipment, systems etc. </li><li>Schedule and monitor the performance of maintenance team members and outside maintenance contractors. </li><li>Identify and coordinate outside vendors and contractors; research, identify, approve and purchase new parts and equipment to support production, based on need and budget approvals. </li><li>Compose new or revised departmental Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) as required when processes require updating or to improve efficiency. </li><li>Investigate all observations made during customer, safety or quality audits and report corrective actions taken; investigate Quality Assurance Reviews and complete required reporting. </li><li>Ensure all Preventive Maintenance (PMs) are completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Troubleshoot technical problems for equipment and systems to quickly resolve any issues. </li><li>Support team members in addressing daily tasks and provide and conduct department and/or shift meetings to communicate company information, audit updates, production schedule updates, daily safety talks, etc. </li><li>Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommends corrective action. </li><li>Responsible for EHS program in maintenance</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong>Must-Have</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Engineer degree. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills. </li><li>Good Interpersonal Skills and ability to manage teams. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>People Management experience. </li><li>Master’s Degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience. </li><li>Experience in project management. </li><li>Demonstrated experience and success in managing and working within a complex matrixed environment. </li></ul><p><br></p>Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.<p><br></p>Engineering<p><br></p>
