Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity’s EH&S policies and procedures.
What Your Background Should Look Like
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must respect health & safety rules and environmental regulations.
- Ensure a good level of 5S for equipment
- Participate on Maintenance continuous improvement projects
Background
Bac + 2/3 (Mechanical or Electromechanical diploma)
2 to 4 years experience in industrial environment in Maintenance Department
