<strong>Position: </strong> Maintenance Manager<p><br></p><strong> Reports to </strong> : Manager Rail Asset Management<p><br></p><strong> Sector: </strong> Land Mobility<p><br></p><strong> Job Location: </strong> Sharma, NEOM<p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose: </strong><p><br></p>Providing guidance and collaborating with the Projects teams, Shadow Operator and stakeholders in the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance policies, plans, procedures and instructions to ensure maintenance-readiness for the acceptance of assets at handover by the D&B. Collaborating with the Shadow Operator and Projects teams to enable maintenance excellency and efficiency, minimise the life cycle costs, maximise reliability and availability of assets and systems, upholding system safety, and provide adequate protection for passengers, employees and assets.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities & Activities</strong>:<p><br></p><ul><li> Providing guidance and coordinating with the Shadow Operator and the Project teams in the development of plans & processes, procedures and instructions to ensure rail infrastructure assets and systems including rollingstock for the NEOM Backbone Railway are ready and safe for operations, which include development of engineering standards, controlling configuration of the rail system, and delivery plans relating to planned and corrective and predictive maintenance. </li><li> Liaising and collaborating with the Projects team and Shadow Operator during the Design, Testing & Commissioning phases to ensure that the maintainability of NEOM Backbone Railway aligns with international best practice </li><li> Providing guidance during the “unpacking” of OEM and D&B manuals by the Shadow Operator and Maintenance Contractor for the purpose of developing their asset maintenance plans, procedures and instructions for use in the O&M phase, ensuring comprehensiveness, clarity and fitness of purpose prior to approval by NLM Operations and asset Management. </li><li> Providing guidance in the definition of asset information and data attributes required for the configuration and the enrichment of CMMS from the projects teams, shadow operator and maintenance contractor. </li><li> Leveraging on proven and emerging technology in Smart Maintenance and Remote Condition Monitoring and real time asset data capture to drive maturity towards predictive maintenance. </li><li> Reviewing the competence management system and processes including proposed staff and role competency matrices for the maintenance contractor </li><li> Ensuring the robustness of the KPI regime according to targets agreed with senior staff in areas of management of shadow operator and contractor interface and preparations for launch of service </li><li> Working with the Shadow and Commercial Operators to agree on and endorse planned and unplanned maintenance possession and access requirements that are fit for purpose to deliver the maintenance plan consistent with the 24-hour operation concept for NEOM backbone railway </li><li> Reviewing any proposed maintenance boundaries from a system and discipline scope of work perspective to ensure fitness of purpose and alinement with maintenance plans. </li><li> Reviewing the obsolescence management plans from the projects teams and shadow operator for fitness of purpose </li><li> Actively engage and review the Shadow Operator’s and Maintenance Contractors fault management plan and tools such as FRACAS, RCA, alarms trend database to ensure system availability through proactive maintenance support management </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge, Skills And Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> 15+ years of progressive experience in transit systems operations and maintenance. </li><li> Experience in maintenance strategy development, deployment, and optimisation for continuous improvement </li><li> Experience in CMMS implementation BIM and Digital twins. </li><li> Knowledge and understanding of CMMS, FRACAS and data analysis. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Graduate degree, preferably post-graduate degree, in a relevant discipline or equivalent desirable. </li><li> Fluency in English</li></ul>
