<p>The maintenance and procurement coordinator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all company premises overseeing, and managing any revamping or expansion of current facilities or addition of new facilities.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.</li><li>Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.</li><li>Create and implement maintenance procedures and maintenance reporting processes.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.</li><li>Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.</li><li>Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.</li><li>Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.</li><li>Inspect plants and evaluate the use of space and facilities.</li><li>Analyze HVAC systems, wiring, lighting, and other factors at facilities.</li><li>Perform audits to support facility planning and maintenance.</li><li><span>Ensure conformance to established specifications by i</span>nspecting construction and installation progress.</li><li>Respond to emergencies in facilities and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.</li><li>Oversee and direct maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.</li><li>Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.</li><li>Research and identify prospective suppliers and contractors.</li><li>Prepare the required documents to put out tenders for contractors.</li><li>Evaluate products and suppliers according to set criteria.</li><li>Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.</li><li>Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements. </li><li>Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.</li></ul><p><u>Supervisory Responsibilities</u></p><ul><li>Oversee, recruit, and train the maintenance team.</li><li>Monitor employee performance and takes corrective action where needed. </li><li>Directs employees and assigns work duties.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.</li><li>Experience in maintenance is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.</li><li>Ability to read system schematics.</li><li>Advanced troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.</li><li>Good communication and training skills.</li><li>Ability to work with heavy equipment.</li></ul><p><br></p>
