With the goals to prevent/minimize non-productive time for customers and drive requirements for product or service enhancements you will investigate and analyze unsatisfactory product or service performance.<p><br></p>As a Lower Completions Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:<p><br><br></p><ul><li>Receiving and managing customer technical requests on Lower completion included but not limited to sand control, Inflow Control Devices (ICD), multi-stage frac completion</li><li>Meet with customers to discuss the application and design of products and services and deliver technical presentations when required</li><li>Perform near wellbore simulations to design ICD completions and perform production optimization modeling. Further, understand petrophysical data and well logs. </li><li>Utilizing your knowledge and experience on basic reservoir engineering fundamentals to present, explain and discuss the performance of oil and gas production and flow dynamics through ICDs to customers.</li><li>Working independently and with a team to plan and design open hole segmented lower completion jobs with liner hangers and liner top packer systems.</li><li>Identify most suitable open hole packers, and Liner Hanger systems/service tools for job planning</li><li>Comparing job as-planned versus job as-executed and document any lessons learned to ensure opportunity for continuous improvement</li><li>Working on Field Incidents related to products/services</li><li>Participating in Incident Investigation when required, ensuring end to end process, from job planning, preparation, and execution is considered to determine the incident root cause and drive appropriate corrective actions</li><li>Preparing detailed technical reports/proposals and investigation reports</li><li>Performing near wellbore and dynamic simulations using commercial software packages like Netool. Experience with other programs like Eclipse, VIP, CMG etc. is an added value.</li><li>Performing completion deployment and performance simulations like Torque and Drag, Hydraulics, Tubing movement</li><li>Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process</li><li>Assist in the development and improvement of local operational procedures as required<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Fuel your passion</strong><p><br></p>To be successful in this role you will:<p><br><br></p><ul><li>Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Petroleum engineering, or equivalent.</li><li>Have at least 5+ years of lower completion and/or ICD modelling work experience.</li><li>Be a good team player and display good communication skills</li><li>Be able to lead and coordinate several projects simultaneously</li><li>Be a team player with ability to work independently and demonstrate good problem-solving and analytical skills<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Work in a way that works for you</strong><p><br></p>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
