Role Purpose:

The Logistics Process Lead works alongside the Senior Manager of Logistics for The LINE Hospitality and is responsible for devising lean and efficient solutions for The LINE Hospitality. They are responsible for designing and evaluating the hospitality related processes and will work closely with the greater Logistics team, as well as several other key stakeholders from various sectors to develop creative solutions and recommendations to process opportunities. This individual will be responsible for conducting efficiency audits on proposed concept master plans and process documents, followed by the development of improvement strategies and outlined implementation plans. An innovative mindset is a must.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with NEOM logistics and other key stakeholders to design and align systems and processes for The LINE hotel operations and hospitality supply chains.
  • Engage with leading solution providers and innovators to create innovative and efficient supply chains for the LINE.  This will include areas such as laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, meetings, food and beverage, luggage delivery and more.
  • Derive effective, real-time measures of logistics performance and develop processes to enable constant data-driven improvement. 
  • Analyze concept workflows and identify areas for improvement to optimize operations.
  • Collaborate with various department leads to ensure that established processes meet or exceed their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with Tech and Data leads to develop a digital twin for hotel supply chains.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends that can enhance or improve operational efficiency and implement those solutions when appropriate.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other key areas in the LINE such as Development, Residential, Retail, Robotics, Data, Tourism, Airport, Food and Beverage, Meetings and more to derive creative solutions and equipment that will synchronize with other sectors while providing optimal solutions for Hospitality.
  • Work with Robotics to automate supply chains, while increasing productivity and reducing low value work.
  • Facilitate continuous process improvement by soliciting feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Work with Lean and Data teams to build a culture of continuous experimentation and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent)
  • Six Sigma qualification a strong asset
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, process mapping, process improvement and/or similar roles
  • Proven ability to interface with multiple stakeholders across all levels on a diverse organization to build alignment, buy in, and drive change.
  • Track record of innovation and finding creative solutions to process-oriented problems.
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking.
  • Experience in Hotels with a focus on Housekeeping.
  • Extensive knowledge of Lean and process improvement.
  • Deep comfort level with data and multiple technologies.
  • Proven ability to learn fast, quickly understand situations and drive improvement and value.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex implementations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Written and Spoken English at a professional level
  • Additional languages a strong asset
