<strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p><strong> Position </strong><p><br></p><strong> Logistics Director </strong><p><br></p><strong> Job Code </strong><p><br></p><strong> TBD </strong><p><br></p><strong> Reports to </strong><p><br></p><strong> TBD </strong><p><br></p><strong> Direct Reports </strong><p><br></p><strong> TBD </strong><p><br></p><strong> Division </strong><p><br></p><strong> TBD </strong><p><br></p><strong> Department </strong><p><br></p><strong> TBD </strong><p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> The safe, effective, and efficient delivery of Program construction logistics operations. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities</strong><p><br></p><strong> Key Responsibilities </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Oversee the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of program construction logistics operations. </li><li> Develop, implement, coordinate and routine review of the Program Construction Logistics Strategy, in line with the NEOM Construction Logistics Strategy (CLS) and associated procedures. </li><li> Develop and manage the requisite construction logistics coordination meetings, to routinely monitor construction logistics operations. </li><li> Produce and routinely review Program Logistics Phasing Plans to: maintain unimpeded access and movement to respective construction activities; optimize logistics land usage within program boundaries; and identify construction / logistics coordination interfaces through time and space. </li><li> Review and endorse operational level Construction Logistics Plan (CLP). </li><li> Ensure that Program logistics operations DO NOT have an adverse impact on the local community, surrounding environment and other NEOM logistics operations. </li><li> Develop, implement and manage a Program logistics lessons learnt process to facilitate continuous improvement and best practice is maintained across Program logistics operations. </li><li> Develop and manage the Program logistics risk register and associated contingency plans. </li><li> Assist in the development and managing RFP / RFQ and Tendering process as required for Consultancy and Logistics contractual models. </li><li> Ensure program logistics operations (and associated documentation) are fully compliant with NEOM Health, Safety, Security and Quality (HSSQ) and Environmental policies and procedures. </li><li> Maintain a holistic oversight of the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to confirm Sub-Region logistics plans and operations are current and effective. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> Knowledge, Skills and Experience </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Proven track record of experience of developing and executing logistics strategy and plans on substantial construction projects / programs. </li><li> Minimum 20 years of logistics experience (military or mining logistics experience would be preferable). </li><li> Experience of effectively managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders. </li><li> Strong organizational, prioritization and time management attributes to monitor and manage multiple projects concurrently; balancing key priorities and meeting challenging and time-pressured deadlines. </li><li> Strong verbal and written communication skills; including the ability to deliver to senior management accurately and with brevity. </li><li> Strong team player with a proven track record in working with multicultural teams. </li><li> Strong work ethic coupled with the ability to work in high-pressure situations and environments. </li><li> Experience of delivering logistics operations and solutions in challenging and remote environments; particularly in austere locations, with limited access. </li><li> Experience of fixed wing or rotary logistics operations in remote inaccessible locations. </li><li> Construction of elevated structures and long-span bridges. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> Essential: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Full-Time Bachelorโ€™s Degree. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Desirable: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport โ€“ Chartered Member (CMILT) or Chartered Fellow (FCILT) </li><li> PMP Certification. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> MAIN CONTACTS </strong><p><br></p><strong> Internal </strong><p><br></p><strong> External </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> TBD </li><li> TBD </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> VERSION TRACKING </strong><p><br></p><strong> Version </strong><p><br></p>1.0<p><br></p><strong> Prepared by (Senior Logistics Manager) </strong><p><br></p>TBD<p><br></p><strong> Approved by (Executive Director) </strong><p><br></p>TBD<p><br></p><strong> Reviewed by (Human Resources) </strong><p><br></p>TBD
