Job Description

<p><span>We are looking to hire a&nbsp;</span><strong>Logistics Coordinator</strong><span>&nbsp;for our client, one of the leading medical devices and diagnostics provider in the UAE, for both human and animal health.</span></p><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>The role would require the candidate to&nbsp;manage the daily&nbsp;operations&nbsp;of goods/orders from the point of origin to the end destination as per the agreed plan and service levels.</span></p><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><strong><u>Key responsibilities would be as below:</u></strong></p><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>Handle order fulfilment tasks and follow up schedule of deliveries as per the agreed terms and take appropriate actions in case of deviations</span></li><li><span>Responsible for timely preparation, completion, and maintenance of shipping documentation for customs with high level of accuracy in relation to the shipment schedule</span></li><li><span>Engage and negotiate with necessary third-party vendors (transportation companies) in terms of pricing and exceptional level of service</span></li><li><span>Ensure all the parties involved are working efficiently together to avoid any unexpected delays</span></li><li><span>Maintain regular communication with the clients on the order dispatch and shipment</span></li><li><span>Prepare and submit monthly sales and inventory report to the Line Manager</span></li><li><span>Coordination of all matter related to the customs audit</span></li><li><span>Regular visits to the warehouse for inspections to ensure facility is as per the set standards</span></li><li><span>Record customer complaints related to logistics claim and take necessary actions to resolve the same</span></li><li><span>Develop, articulate, and maintain Logistics process documentation</span></li><li><span>Continually update the working process and methods for optimum efficiency and customer satisfaction</span></li><li><span>Keep abreast and inform the team on changes on the custom rules and regulations related to medical devices</span></li></ul><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><strong><u>Role requirements:</u></strong></p><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree&nbsp;in a related field</span></li><li><span>Proven work experience in logistics/ supply chain preferably in the medical industry</span></li><li><span>Well-organized and detail oriented</span></li><li><span>Previously worked on inventory management systems</span></li><li><span>Resolution oriented with problem solving skills</span></li></ul><p><br></p>
