<strong>Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World<br><br></strong>LIS Trainer (GCSS-A Instructor)<br><br>Primary training lead for Maintenance, Supply, and Property Book management operations within the Logistics Information Systems, GCSS-A, AESIP, and TC-AIMS.<br><br><strong><u>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li> Responsible for training of APS-5 Kuwait contractor personnel in Logistics STAMIS Systems.</li><li> Conduct, facilitate and lead training presentations, focusing primarily on accountability operations and related subjects.</li><li> Evaluate effectiveness of training/course presentations.</li><li> Develop and revise courses, using instructional system design &amp; development (ISD) methodology.</li><li> Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods, and utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness.</li><li> Develop and select training aids, such as multimedia visual aids, and training handbooks.</li><li> Test students to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of such training.</li><li> Investigate new technologies and techniques for potential benefit for new trainer acquisition.</li><li> Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Education<br></u></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of job-related experience preferred<br></li></ul><strong><u>Experience<br></u></strong><ul><li> 6 years of job-related experience in lieu of formal schooling required.</li><li> GCSS-Army Certification Required<br></li></ul><strong><u>Specialized Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities<br></u></strong><ul><li> Emphasis in education of adult teaching and learning technologies.</li><li> Must have knowledge base that is recognized as expert level in area of training USG STAMIS system(s).</li><li> Requires the ability to operate application software including but limited to word-processing, spreadsheet and powerpoint programs.</li><li> Excellent communication skills required.</li><li> Position may require travel.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Certification, License &amp; Clearance<br></u></strong><ul><li> U.S. Citizenship required.</li><li> Secret Clearance is required<br></li></ul><strong><u>Work Environment, Physical Demands &amp; Mental Demands<br></u></strong><ul><li> Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.</li><li> Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.</li><li> Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.</li><li> Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.<br></li></ul>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
