You must possess strong communication skills, ability to transfer information clearly and use discretion to escalate the most urgent issues.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Configure/setup, maintain and troubleshoot servers and services – automation of redundant processes.</li><li>Participate in infrastructure and capacity planning.</li><li>Participate in the planning, designing and testing of disaster recovery procedures.</li><li>Application and operating system tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.</li><li>Implement and deploy infrastructure to support a global environment.</li><li>Implement and maintain security solutions</li><li>Conduct ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on all server environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree (or relevant experience)</li><li>Experience supporting a large-scale globally distributed environment</li><li>Experience with Redhat Linux and variants such as CentOS/Rocky/Alma</li><li>Experience with ansible automation</li><li>Strong experience with a frontend programming language such as HTML5/Javascript/React</li><li>An automation mindset, wherever possible you should look to use scripting and automation</li><li>Must be fluent in the English language</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong experience with Python.</li><li>Experience with setup, configuration and maintain ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).</li><li>Experience with virtualization technology such as VMware and Hyper-V running in a production environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of Linux network stack, system security and kernel tuning</li><li>Experience with system monitoring tools such as Nagios/Zabbix</li><li>An engineering instinct with an ability to think laterally to solve technical problems</li><li>Experience with software based load-balancers (haproxy/nginx)</li><li>Experience with relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB/postgresql)</li><li>Experience with systems logging tools and centralized logging (ELK stack)</li><li>Experience with containers (docker)</li><li>Experience with RedHat HA Cluster (corosync stack)</li><li>Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical people</li><li>Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Who we are</strong></p><p><br></p><p>For 30 years, <strong>TransPerfect</strong> has provided comprehensive language and technology solutions to help our clients communicate and conduct business more effectively in a global marketplace.
