Job Description
Purpose of the role:
Maintain brand standards. Receive, prepare, and cook products in a specific station as per the recipe, cleaning up prep area and making sure the kitchen or assigned station is stocked. Ensure products are prepared accurately and promptly in a highest possible product quality. Line Cook could work as assigned by duty manager.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Achieving revenue targets as assigned
Internal process
- Delivers highest possible level of product quality.
- Meet specification of safe food handling procedures.
- Assist when receiving products and store items according to the standards.
- Monitors product quality.
- Checks and observes expiration dates of all products.
- Rotates food, paper, and cleaning products on FIFO basis.
- Prepare and cook products as per the recipe.
- Prepare packs and properly hold all products.
- Stocks freezers / fridge with one day’s supply of product as set by duty manager.
- Minimize wastage of products through the strict observation.
- Fills orders accurately, and quickly according to menu serving, packaging and bagging standards.
- Check prepared and packaged orders against receipt.
- Keeps a supply of products, paper products, condiments, and utensils in the stations.
- Fully aware of all menu items and current prices.
- Delivers prompt, complete products to the customers.
- Monitors proper equipment functioning.
- Reports any malfunctioning in equipments performance to duty manager.
- Operates equipments properly according to standards.
- Regularly cleans equipments after usage and as per the cleaning schedule.
- Carryout daily tasks within reasonable time.
- Notifies duty manager when menu-items stock is low.
- Wear clean, complete uniform everyday
- Always neat, clean appearance and adheres to grooming standard
- Keeps food preparation area, equipments and utensils clean and sanitary
- Performs general cleaning task (mopping floors, cleaning rest rooms, stock room, refrigerators, freezers, walk-in cooler, kitchen equipment etc…)
People:
- Courteous communication to all team members.
- Support in the training process of new employees if needed and as per the standard
Customer
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school
- Hospitality graduation or experience of at least 2 years working as Line Cook in a casual dining concept
- Good communication skills
- Food safety awareness
- Ability to multitask
- Flexibility & adaptability
