Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><p><br></p><p> </p><p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Under the general direction of the Spa and Recreation Manager or his/her Delegate, and within the limits of established IHG and local Hotel policies and procedures, is responsible for supervising the delivery of all recreational guest services, including spa and gym operations. </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </u></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>路 Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers while </p><p> cautioning the swimmers about unsafe areas.</p><p>路 Knows how to initiate a rescue and remove a distressed swimmer from the water.</p><p>路 Watches out for situations that could lead to accidents.</p><p>路 Prohibits rough play or dangerous objects in the water or the surrounding area.</p><p>路 Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid and artificial respiration if necessary.</p><p>路 Maintains order in the swimming areas.</p><p>路 Inspects facilities for cleanliness and cleans the swimming pool.</p><p>路 Determines chlorine and pH value of water, using water testing kit.</p><p>路 Gives swimming instructions if requested to do so.</p><p>路 Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, </p><p> Hygiene and Fire Life Safety.</p><p>路 Performs related duties and other projects as assigned.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>2. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Red Cross Advanced Lifesaving Certificate.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><u>Skills:</u></strong></p><p><strong><u> </u></strong></p><p>Fluent in Arabic and English. </p><p>Good Communication skills</p><p><strong> </strong></p>
