Level 2 Cybersecurity/Security Operations Personnel

Job Description

• Analyze and respond to complex security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
• Perform security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
• Ensure compliance with SLA parameters and respond to security incidents within the defined response times.
• Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 Cybersecurity/Security Operations personnel to escalate and resolve complex security issues.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance the overall security posture.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 Cybersecurity/Security Operations personnel.
• Participate in routine maintenance activities, including operating system upgrades, firmware upgrades, and configuration review.
• Conduct periodic review and testing of security controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
• Provide support during cybersecurity audits and assessments, addressing any findings or recommendations.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure the overall availability and performance of the Cyber Security Infrastructure solutions and services.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Smart City Ecosystem Framework and the Unified Assets Operational Platform.
• Apply analytical, planning, and reporting capabilities in the context of cybersecurity operations.
