<p>The Saudi Tadawul Group was established in March 2021, following the transformation of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) into a Holding Group structure. It is the parent company with a portfolio of four subsidiaries, which operate independently while benefitting from the integration and synergies between one another.</p><p>The subsidiaries include: The Saudi Exchange, a dedicated stock exchange business, the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) and Wamid – a new innovative applied technology services business, focused on providing innovation and nascent technologies to the capital markets industry through pragmatic innovation.</p><p>The Group aims to advance the Saudi capital market’s infrastructure in line with global best practices, while reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as an emerging market leader, a technologically advanced and attractive global investment destination and the gateway to the MENA region.It looks to support with the successful delivery of Saudi Arabia’s Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP) objectives, as part of Vision 2030, to boost economic growth and diversify the economy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support in Interacting with the Saudi Tadawul Group divisions to provide legal guidance on all aspects of business development and its effect on existing Rules and Procedures.</li><li>Help in the development of new business initiatives by providing comments and feedback from a regulatory/legal perspective.</li><li>development of new/existing Saudi Tadawul Group Rules and Procedures.</li><li>Contribute to representing the Regulatory in the various ongoing projects initiated by the subsidiaries.</li><li>Support in public consultations announced by the Saudi Tadawul Group divisions and subsidiaries.</li><li>Preparing legal/Regulatory assessment when needed.</li><li>Lead the development of Rules and procedures for STG’s subsidiaries relevant to listing, trading clearing, and settlement aspects (Exchange Rules) along with any other aspect related to operating the Saudi Market or introducing a new product.</li><li>Publish the Exchange Rules for Public Consultations and gather all feedback and prepare the responses.</li><li>Initiate the approval cycle for the amended/new Exchange Rules which include submitting it to RPOC-Relevant Board- CMA Board.</li><li>Providing legal advices and assessment related to the various Exchange Rules provisions and the Implementing Regulations.</li><li>Interact with the STG Divisions and its subsidiaries to provide guidance on all aspects of rules and regulations, whilst also ensuring that rules and regulations are adequately reflected in internal policies and processes where necessary.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Guide, and assist employees by direct reports to perform their functional operations efficiently.</li><li>Supervise the team’s staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.</li><li>Evaluate employees’ performance with continuous feedback on their assigned targets.</li><li>Comply with communication and information sharing/handling policy to ensure confidentiality of the information and comply with all relevant risk and information security procedures to ensure operating within the acceptable risk levels.</li><li>Administer the development and implementation of the function’s policies, procedures, and processes covering all areas of the function’s activities to ensure the fulfillment of all work requirements.</li><li>Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education and Certifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in in Law, master’s degree in law is preferable.</li><li>CME 1 is preferable.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>4 + years of experience in Law and relative experience is required.</li></ul><p></p>
