Purpose of the Job:
- To assist the Group Manager, Legal Affairs, and follow-up all the review of general agreements, DA’s, NDA’s, and all other Governmental Organizations.
- Ensure an acceptable standard of Quality Management System is maintained in accordance with the recognized working practice and the company’s Quality Manual and Policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide the legal department with direct assistance on legal activities, and help with the case proceedings, including legal documents preparation, serving legal documents, and enforcement department’s procedures.
- Perform, follow up, and complete legal transactions before the Government or any legal authority, including the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Land Registration Bureau, Traffic Directorate, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Private and Public Notary, and Ministry Of Health, any others that are related or needed for any delegated task.
- Follow up and take required actions to maintain the Companies, Divisions, and Owners Companies CRs renewed and up to date with no Violations.
- Draft and review Agreements, NDAs, MOU, and legal documents.
- Assist with case research, gathering necessary trial documents, and conducting legal opinions and studies.
- Organize and maintain the library and all legal files kept in the legal department.
- Conduct a thorough review of all Agreements, NDAs, IDAs, and AMCs.
- Drafting and Translating all required Partners and Board-related documents such as Resolutions, POA, or any other related to performing the duties.
- To perform all other related jobs as assigned by the Directors & Manager, Legal Affairs.
Requirements
- Law graduate with 5+ years of experience.
- Corporate experience is an advantage.
- The ability to work bilingually (Arabic & English).
- Knowledge of the Sijilate system and process.
- Preferably the knowledge of the related laws to one or more of the divisions.
- Bahraini Male or Female.
- Possesses fair knowledge in regard to Bahrain Laws, Regulations, Practices, and Procedures, especially related to commercial, Civil, and labor issues.
- Excellent knowledge of the procedural process in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Good Analytical Negotiation and Arbitration skills.
