Job Description
<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>Oversee the legal aspects of business and safeguard company鈥檚 reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and give effective legal advice to management about all relevant issues.</p><p><br></p><p> <strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Give accurate and timely counsel to other departments and the management in a variety of legal topics (labor law, commercial, agreements, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)</li><li>Collaborate with management to devise efficient defence strategies</li><li>Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance</li><li>Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations</li><li>Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues</li><li>Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust</li><li>Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company鈥檚 full legal rights as well as business continuity </li><li>Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces</li><li>Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization</li><li>Maintain an up to date knowledge of alterations in legislation</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>路 at least 5 years experience as a Legal Counsel in UAE corporate environment</p><p>路 Excellent knowledge and understanding of applicable corporate law and procedures</p><p>路 Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation</p><p>路 Demonstrate ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies</p><p>路 High degree of professional ethics and integrity</p><p>路 Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information</p><p>路 Outstanding communication skills</p><p>路 BSc degree in Law or equivalent</p>
