<ul><li>Provide direction and manage direct reports in performing their delegated tasks. </li><li> Set standards and performance measures. Regularly conduct performance appraisals for direct reports. </li><li> Ensure that all direct reports acquire the required skillsets, knowledge, and certifications through appropriate training and professional development programs (in coordination with Human Capital and Administration). Coach and counsel them as required. Encourage good communication among all levels of staff. </li><li> Review and approve any performance appraisals conducted by direct reports to their subordinates, thus ensuring a timely, efficient, and objective performance management system.</li><li> Monitor the progress of all projects within job responsibilities through project status meetings, project tracking reports, measurement and analysis meetings, ad-hoc meetings with project teams, etc. </li><li> Informing and advising the Controller and its employees carrying out processing operations about their obligations under the Data Protection law and provisions.</li><li> Monitoring compliance with the Data Protection Law other applicable data protection provisions and the company strategies for the protection of personal data, including the allocation of responsibilities, awarenessraising, and training of staff involved in the processing operations and related verifications. </li><li> Exceptional Knowledge of Data Protection law and requirements. </li><li> Advise and be involved in a timely manner on all issues related to data protection of the subject and the company. </li><li> Awareness and protection of high-risk processing activities. </li><li> Acting as a contact point for the supervisory authority on issues related to processing. </li><li> Acting as a contact point for the exercise of data subjects’ rights </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Law</li><li>Juris Doctor in Law (US office) </li><li> At least ten (10) years of experience in Law </li><li> At least five (5) years in a managerial role </li><li> Excellent command of written and oral English (Arabic is preferable)</li><li> Capable of handling business strategic discussions with the Group CEO and the Board.</li></ul>
