<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Advising on a wide variety of commercial contracts including supplier/procurement terms, product sale agreements, leases, licensing agreements, MoUs, NDAs, EPC contracts, finance documents and corporate transactions.</li><li>Working closely with and advising all business/corporate units (manufacturing, product sales, business development, finance, IT, HR, etc.) on legal issues</li><li>Advising on legal aspects of the company’s financing, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities.</li><li>Oversees all litigation and contentious matters, leads and manages dispute avoidance and resolution, all legal proceedings, arbitrations/mediations and negotiations.</li><li>Participating in the definition and development of corporate policies and procedures.</li><li>Providing legal support on corporate governance, business strategy and compliance matters.</li><li>Actively participating in developing company contract templates, handles regulatory issues such as employment/labor law issues, and monitors all aspects of procurement law.</li><li>Anticipating and identifying legal issues of concern to senior management, estimates risk strategically, identifies and develops legal strategies and proactive solutions.</li><li>Ensuring that the company conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Managing relationships with external counsel and legal spend.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>Saudi National.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in law (<u>prefer</u> US, UK, Canada, Australia or New Zealand or equivalent).</li><li>At least 1-3 years of experience in a reputable law firm and/or in-house. Candidates with less experience may be considered based on overall strengths.</li><li>Fully bilingual (Arabic and English) spoken and written is essential.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Work experience in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry.</li><li>Exposure to commercial, corporate, and/or finance transactions.</li></ul>
