Legal Coordinator

Role Purpose

Legal Coordinator is responsible for adopting well-defined rules and regulations to ensure that Sindalah’s activities are in conformity with KSA laws and regulations, and provide legal consultation and advises to Sindalah’s departments

Legal Advisory and Consultation

  • Identify Sindalah’s legal functions by overviewing the organization’s legal/regulatory requirements and reporting the requirements to the Head of Shared Services
  • Report the deliverables of all legal work streams across the organization to the Head of Shared Services, in coordination with the legal team at Neom services
  • Review all internal and external legal matters across Sindalah’s departments including contract support, regulatory and compliance matters, policy development, and dispute resolution
  • Support the Head of Shared Services to provide legal advice/review pertaining the development of contracts/ agreements/other legal documents related to all real estate, construction, and commercial activities across the entire development lifecycle
  • Identify regulatory requirements for Sindalah’s operational assets and communicate impact of new/amended regulations to the Head of Shared Services
  • Provide legal advice/review for all project feasibility, investment, restructuring, merger and acquisition, company registration, and title transfer activities to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, while ensuring Sindalah’s rights are adequately protected against third party rights to mitigate litigation risks
  • Provide legal advice/review regarding all hospitality matters as well as the setup and operationalization of the Sindalah’s Brand across its diversified asset classes
  • Provide legal assistance related to the review of external communication protocols and publications to protect Sindalah’s public image (in alignment to the Sindalah’s Brand)
  • Develop forms and templates for repetitive contracts, and ensure their continued applicability and viability
  • Oversee the procurement of a secure legal knowledge database system

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, principled approach to understand problems and opportunities, and approach to decisions
  • Effective communication and influencing skills in leading arguments in favor of a course of action

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in law or other related major from an accredited law school is a requirement (strong knowledge and understanding of the KSA laws and its application is preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in the Law /Legal entity (KSA and / or Middle East experience is strongly preferred)
