<p><strong>Role Profile:<br></strong>This job contributes to the success of the company by ensuring partner development leading to enhanced performance, career progression through the ranks achieved through structured training solutions, and provision of training experiences that are linked to established individual and team training needs. The role<br>requires in-house consulting of all training needs with the District Managers as well as Store Managers in the market.<br><br></p><p><strong>The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate Operational learning needs and Partner development.</li><li>Support in the training and development of Baristas, Shift Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager, and Store Manager roles.</li><li>Share best practices in the area of responsibility (AOR) and with peers in the market to leverage learning.</li><li>Implement cascaded training programs ensuring effective facilitation, sufficient market conversion per requirements, and measurement of training effectiveness through feedback forms, Assessments, and learning go-see.</li><li>Recommend programs and tools that may facilitate ongoing process improvements and learning service delivery.</li><li>Support onboarding of new partners by distributing training journals and tools and facilitation of Starbucks Experience.</li><li>Manage and administer Store certification programs such as Barista Trainer Certification and Coffee Academy Certification Programs</li><li>Ensures periodic training plans are in place and sets priorities per market needs creating necessary learning interventions and making recommendations.</li><li>Manages compliance numbers for Basic Food Safety, Person in Charge and any other market requirements</li><li>Deliver business requirement</li><li>Liaise with Brand Training Managers and the Head of Learning as well as peers to support the specific Market needs.</li><li>Liaise with Operations – DMS and SMs to identify and develop potential Partners for required positions.</li><li>Makes recommendations for actions required based on Training Need Analysis conducted through Learning and Development KPI report and in liaison with operations.</li><li>Complete Learning – Go see in the stores within the market identify opportunity gaps and support operations addressing the gaps through L&D intervention.</li><li>Based on learning go-see, partner feedback and interactions with ops teams makes recommendations and provide learning tools to support the local Market on specific strategic and tactical learning and operational solutions.</li><li>Respond to a variety of requests from Store Partners, Operations Management.</li><li>Partners and other departments about training and development and liaise with the head office where appropriate.</li><li>Manage stock levels and distribution of Resource and Training Manuals for new and existing stores.</li></ul><p><strong>Coordinate Planning and Execution<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and delivers training programs within the assigned AOR.</li><li>Facilitate cascaded leadership development and other workshops for Shift Supervisors and Store Management.</li><li>Consult the Operations team to develop the required number of coaches for all developmental and Trainers for Baristas, SSVs, and Store Managers.</li><li>Lead District and Regional Starbucks Barista Championships to ensure effective planning and seamless execution.</li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of delivery of in-store and classroom training programs.</li><li>Develop facilitation skills for Shift Supervisors and Store Managers to enable them to cascade training programs effectively.</li><li>Plan and administers Monthly, Quarterly and Annual calendar based on priorities in liaison with Operations Management Teams.
