ALEC offers its clients a complete turnkey solution with construction, MEP, fit-out, energy efficiency solutions and solar opportunities, facilities management capabilities, heavy equipment rental as well as technology systems.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced <strong>Learning and Development Specialist </strong>to join our team in t<span>he </span><strong>UAE</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>The <em>Learning and Development Specialist </em>will support the organisation in achieving its vision by developing, supporting and engaging the employees.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Training Needs Analysis: Identifying the specific skill gaps and learning needs within ALEC through various methods such as surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations. </li><li>Curriculum Development: Design and develop training programmes, workshops, and learning materials that align with the identified needs and support ALECs goals.</li><li>Training Delivery: Facilitating training sessions and workshops for employees using various methods, such as classroom training, online courses, workshops, and webinars.</li><li>Employee Onboarding: Supporting with managing the onboarding programmes to help support new hires integrate smoothly into ALEC and quickly acquire the necessary skills for their roles.</li><li>Learning Management Systems (LMS): Utilising and maintaining learning management systems to track employee progress, deliver online courses, and manage training records.</li><li>Building learning pathways: Ability to map online content to match specific business functions and requirements </li><li>Evaluation and Assessment: Measuring the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven improvements.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives.</li><li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with subject matter experts, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs are aligned with ALECs strategic goals.</li><li>Coaching and Support: Providing ongoing coaching and support to employees to reinforce their learning and development efforts.</li><li>Support with external training events and functions </li><li>Assist in other key duties as required by the Line Manager or Management Team.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Any relevant graduation</li><li>Minimum of 5 years experience in the L&amp;D field</li><li>Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) </li><li>Excellent time management skills</li><li>Excellent MS Office skills </li><li>Analytical skills</li><li>Confident in working with stakeholders from different levels in the business </li><li>Completed Train the Trainer qualification </li><li>A psychometric qualification would be desirable </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work under pressure</li><li>The ability to work as part of a team</li><li>The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Other Skills/Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Delivery focused.</li><li>Customer-service oriented</li><li>Must have a keen interest in people</li></ul><p><br></p><p>When applying, please ensure you attach a copy of your CV</p>
