<ul><li>Ph.D or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering</li><li>Minimum of 15-20 years relevant experience in related field, with a PhD (greater number of years of experience with lesser degree of education)</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills</li><li>Experience using ideation tools (TRIZ, etc.)</li><li>Ability to solve ambiguous, less-defined problems</li><li>Ability to judge technical merits and economics of p Strong communication and writing skills</li><li>rojects</li><li>Strong project management skills Experience in refinery conversion and petrochemical process is requirement . Knowledge of waste plastics chemical recycling would be a plus for this role.</li><li>Extensive experience in modeling of chemical processes and the use of computational tools such as ASPEN Plus or ASPEN Utilities, Aspen Icarus or equivalents. You are knowledgeable about thermodynamics, energy/exergy analysis and sustainability.</li><li>Experience within process development in an industrial research and development environment</li><li>Team player but you are also able to work independently on your contribution.</li><li>Experience working in a global and multi-cultural environment and respect other cultures.</li><li>Persevering and challenging attitude towards your work environment.</li><li>Critical observer as well as a conceptual and analytical thinker.</li><li>Able to spot opportunities and translate these into value propositions for the business.</li><li>Ability to present project proposals and results in a convincing manner to both business and manufacturing management.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal &amp; communication skills</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead and execute technology development projects, Initiates, plans and executes complex multi-disciplinary research projects within predefined deadlines and aligned with business needs/impact</li><li>Participates in developing chemical recycling technology development strategy by providing technical input on what needs the new solutions are addressing and defines the pre-requisites for a successful program</li><li>Takes an active role in brainstorming sessions to foster innovation</li><li>Conducts comprehensive literature and patent searches and analysis</li><li>Presents technical papers in regional or international conferences/meetings; may chair conferences”</li><li>Be abreast of technology developments in the area of chemical recycling and take a sound judgement and provide inputs on whether a new technology development efforts is needed</li><li>To work in a multidisciplinary setting within the Technology organization where you will collaborate with different disciplines including business and manufacturing for project approval, execution and implementation.</li><li>Is an expert in the area of modeling and simulations (both fundamental and flowsheet modeling) and has good track record of developing conceptual design packages, seeing them through implementation and project cost estimation and economic analysis.</li></ul><p><br></p>Highly adhere to EHSS &amp; Compliance best practices and updating safe practices through proper trainings.
