This Purpose and commitments within each of four Principles (People, Industry, Clients, Performance) reflect our company culture and how we serve our clients within the world we work and live today.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Client facing role </li><li> Stakeholder Management </li><li> Plan and direct engineering activities for the project. </li><li> Conduct infrastructure and building and fire code reviews and analyses. </li><li> Prepare and present technical reports and presentations. </li><li> Conduct design review and commissioning services for fire protection systems. Duties include review of designs and submittals; verification of as-built and redline drawings; construction surveys and inspections; development and partial witnessing of pre-functional checklists; and development and executing functional performance tests. </li><li> Review of designs will include evaluating whether the designer has met the owner’s intent based on contract serviceability, maintainability, and operability requirements, that the designer has adhered to all applicable life safety codes, and assess whether fire protections systems and components are adequately sized for owner/tenant identified requirements. </li><li> Develop scope of work and/or carry out design work </li><li> Apply fundamental fire and life safety engineering principles to create performance-based solutions to design challenges that are not addressed by the straightforward application of existing fire protection codes and standards. </li><li> Evaluate existing facilities for compliance with codes and provide recommendations for improvements.  Evaluations will include site surveys and analysis of life safety systems. </li><li> Compose technical letters and reports to address specific technical concepts as may be needed by assigned tasks. </li><li> Carry out Design Review work and Site based Construction reviews </li><li> Commissioning and Testing witnessing </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong>Required:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum 20+ years’ industry experience </li><li> Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Fire Engineering.
