Job Description: Shared Services Lead of Transportation and Installation Engineering (Pipelines / Cables) Structures and Floatover<p><br></p>Part A: Job Specification<p><br></p>Job Purpose Position provides engineering support to the Shared Services Integrated T&I Organization which is guided by the following principles:<p><br></p><ul><li> “One Team” project organization accountable and responsible for effective and efficient delivery of the various scopes in NFPS Compression development</li><li> While position may report to the Compression Project Shared Services Head of Transportation and Installation Engineering, position is accountable and responsible to EPC Leadership for safe and successful execution of respective T&I scopes to meet EPC and overall project objectives</li></ul><p><br></p>Reporting and Relationships Reporting<p><br></p><ul><li> Reports to the NFPS Compression Project Shared Services Head of Transportation and Installation Engineering</li></ul><p><br></p>Internal Relationship<p><br></p><ul><li> T&I engineering execution scope responsibility and accountability to the respective EPC project managers (e.g., Project Managers for COMP1, COMP2, COMP3 and other future COMP PMTs)</li><li> Other NFPS Compression functional organizations within Shared Services</li></ul><p><br></p>External Relationship<p><br></p><ul><li> NFPS Projects Teams (e.g., i1p1, EPCOL)</li><li> Major Projects Teams (e.g., NFXP Offshore Project Team)</li><li> Relevant QG Operations Organizations (e.g., OES, Operations and Maintenance, QG Marine, QG Logistics)</li></ul><p><br></p>Job Context & Major Challenge(s) * Support various stakeholders (EPC teams, Shared Services) to meet their respective objectives by discharging T&I engineering (including transportation, heavy lifts, float-over, pipelay, subsea cable lay, subsea) responsibilities and duties efficiently and effectively – multiple accountabilities and responsibilities<p><br></p><ul><li> Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in the T&I processes, systems, procedures, and work products</li><li> Must be able to manage the respective priorities, drivers and challenges of the stakeholders while maintaining focus on their respective execution objectives</li><li> Support multiple internal and external interfaces across QG and Shareholder organizations and EPC Contractors – require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and collaboration</li></ul><p><br></p>Financial Dimension * As defined for this job level in the Delegation of Authority and/or approved budget.<p><br></p>Generic Accountabilities – All Employees<p><br></p>Safety Health & Environment * Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations, and standards<p><br></p>Qatarization Program * Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This accountability is a condition of employment for expatriate employees.<p><br></p>Firewall Compliance * Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti – trust and competition laws and the Company firewall policies and procedures.<p><br></p>Key Job Accountabilities<p><br></p><strong><u>Position Accountabilities And Functions Include</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> As T&I Engineering Lead, pProvide full function T&I engineering to EPC teams to ensure each of the EPC meet objectives – including all aspects of T&I engineering, marine warranty requirements, procedural compliance, execution safety and integrity and project execution effectiveness and efficiency.</li><li> PProvide core technical and execution expertise to ensure consistent and quality application of T&I systems, processes, and procedures for T&I engineering scope.</li><li> Provide demonstrable competency and experience to advise, make recommendations and decisions for T&I regarding transportation and installation engineering requirements and activities including load-out, sea fastening, transportation, heavy lift, float-over, pipelay and cable lay and installation analysis, methods and procedures.</li><li> Provide knowledge and experienced technical and execution input to engineering designs and installation procedures</li><li> Support the delivery of all Transport and Installation Engineering scope based on Contractor installation vessels and barges in accordance with agreed schedule and budget.</li><li> Review of transportation and installation procedures from engineering perspective such as heavy lifts, jacket launches, topside floatovers, pipeline, cable, umbilical, crossings, post installed risers including stalk ons, freespan correction, pilling, load out, float on, float off, trenching, burial, beach pull, transpooling and others</li><li> Review and technical validation of Installation Eengineering deliverables associated to the tTransportation and i& Installation scope including:</li><li>Structural T&I eEngineering and verification including associated studies and analysis (e.g. for gGrillage and s& Seafastening design, jJacket launch and uUpending analysis, design and verification of installation and /lifting aids, heavy lLift analysis, ing & rigging design, pile driving, etc. including associated lifting studies, structural checks, pile dravability, etc)</li><li>Naval Architechtural (bBarge stability, vessel suitability analysis, response and motions analysis, transportation & towing analysis, tug bollard pull requirements, and mooring analysis, etc)</li><li>Pipeline and subsea & cables TI& engineering and verification including associated studies and analysis (for pipelay and subsea cable lay, welding, loadout, transportation and installation analysis, etc.)</li><li> Provide inputs and vailidate CP topside floatover and transportation engineering including design of LMUs, DSUs, floatover operations, jacket and vessel fendering, etc</li><li> Support an effective interface with COMPANY/CONTRACTOR Engineering discipline leads to ensure the installation engineering input are reviewed and captured within the project design and relevant installation procedures.</li><li> Support MWS approval of CONTRACTOR’s T&I engineering deliverables</li><li> Support performance monitoring through surveillance and analytics of T&I scope – perform necessary assessments, identify opportunities for improvements, application of lessons learned</li><li> Provide engineering support during offshore installation phase in a timely manner</li></ul><p><br></p>Part B: Person Specification – Minimum Requirements<p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Preferred Engineering Degree or relevant on the job experience</li><li> Extensive project engineering experience in a senior role</li><li> Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation.</li><li> OPITO certification is considered a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p>Knowledge and/or Experience<p><br></p><ul><li> Recommended 15+ years of experience with at least 10 years demonstrated T&I engineering experience</li><li> Experience in multiple T&I engineering aspects including offshore heavy lifts, float-over, pipeline, and cable installations, load-out and transportation;
