<p><strong><u>Lead Frontend Developer (Reactjs/Nextjs)</u></strong></p><p><strong>Amman – Jordan</strong></p><p><strong>2900 – 3200 JOD</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Lead Front-end Developer with experience in Reactjs/Nextjs to join our team.</p><p><br></p><p>As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Front-end engineers in the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and proven experience leading high-performing teams.</p><p><br></p><p>Proven experience with React and a component-based approach to development is essential. As well as experience with TypeScript, and Next.js.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Below are some of the responsibilities a lead front-end developer is expected to assume: </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage and lead a team of Front-end engineers in the development and implementation of software solutions for the automotive industry.</li><li>Build code pattern libraries, responsive page templates, and single-page web applications from annotated visual designs using Reactjs and Nextjs.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer needs.</li><li>Take ownership of software development and deployment.</li><li>Ensure the team adheres to established software development best practices and processes.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.</li><li>Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key software development tasks</li><li>Develop high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</li><li>Build code pattern libraries, responsive page templates, and single-page web applications from annotated visual designs using Reactjs and Nextjs.</li><li>Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends.</li><li>have great problem-solving skills and you work well in a team.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Qualifications and Skill Sets</strong></p><p>Below are the qualifications expected of a lead front-end developer:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.</li><li>At least 8 years of experience in developing and maintaining the front end of web applications, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.</li><li>Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).</li><li>3+ years experience with Reactjs.</li><li>2+ years experience with Nextjs.</li><li>Experience with Typescript.</li><li>Knowledge of React tools including React.js, Webpack, and Redux.</li><li>Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap.</li><li>Familiarity with CSS pre processor Sass.</li><li>Working knowledge of SEO principles.</li><li>Experience with build tools such as Gulp or Webpack.</li><li>Experience with version control such as Git.</li><li>Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.</li><li>Experience code reviewing, leading, and mentoring senior and junior front-end developers.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.</li><li>Experience with cloud-based platforms like Netlify and Vercel is a plus</li><li>Experience with Containerized solutions (Docker) and Kubernetes is a plus</li></ul><p></p>
