L&D Consultant – Aftersales | Al Futtaim Automotive | Talent Center

Job Purpose: 

Automotive Training Consultant playing an active part in a team of dedicated Trainers in developing competent productive associates by way of assessments, on the job development activities and coaching, supported with engaging training programmes as required by Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, underpinned by the respective Brand standards. The role will cover training needs analysis, design, development, planning, curriculum design and implementation of technical training programmes utilising a blended learning approach, including impact measurement. Activities will include, Digital Material development, Video Recording, Face to Face Training Delivery assessments and on-site support and coaching.

 

Job Description: 

Continuously refining curriculum

Develop new ways of learning to support ambitious growth within Al-Futtaim Automotive, to create and encourage positive, energetic, memorable and productive learning environments for all participating associates.

Deliver engaging training, in various formats to include Video Presentations, Voice Over and Face to Face delivery most appropriate to the audience and business need at the time.

Complete on-going self-assessment of training programmes content and delivery, to promote continuous associate and business improvement.

Support the Co-ordination and monitoring of all distributor training, to ensure Brand and distributor compliance, with the execution of structured action plans.

Identify and monitor business KPIs that can be improved or supported with focused training and build the resources to drive the KPIs

Ensure Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management system requirements and SOPs are implemented in the area of responsibility.

Follow emergency & evacuation procedures of the company.

Participate in HSE incident investigation ensure corrective preventive actions are adequately taken and closed out.

 

Ensure all training material is up to date and in line with modern technology.

Responsible for delivering and supporting all components of associate progress through to certification.

Arranging and conducting competency testing and assessments.

Developing and updating training programmes and material.

Reporting learner attendance, results, and any issues, with emphasis on protecting learner & customer data.

Maintenance and development of training aids.

Actively promote equal opportunities and diversity in accordance with company policy avoiding discrimination

Facilitate training needs analysis of retail market, advise according to market trends and distributor guidelines.

Ensure compliance with management activities through one on ones and monitoring of daily distributor activities?

Assist with the orientation, training and coaching of staff, management and other stakeholders to increase efficiency within the workplace in line with the associated business improvement required.

Participate and execute adherence to company and distributor policy and procedure compliance.

Ensure the successful implementation of distributor training, value chain and distributor fundamentals training activities.

Conduct ongoing dealer visits to identify individual training requirements, network support and complete post-course follow-up evaluations.

Support new model launch activities and external company training by way of material development with the support of the sales training team subsequent delivery.

Skills

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

High level of proficiency in both written and Spoken English, (additional languages advantageous)

High level of proficiency with digital learning platforms & material/video editing software

Working knowledge and understanding of Aftersales Service & Parts processes and systems

 

A High-Level Qualification in: 

Adult learning or training and assessment certificate or equivalent – Advantage

 

Minimum Experience:  

Training or Coaching role – 2 years                                               

Automotive Industry Experience – 5 years                                          

Customer-Facing Role Experience

PC Literate, proficient in Microsoft Office programs and video authoring and editing software

Ability to develop tailored training materials to suit the local market
