Job Description

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervise and train staff in day-to-day laundry operations and prioritizing of daily tasks

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure guest laundry, dry cleaning and pressing is completed according to set standards

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure all guest requests are promptly and professionally met; liaise with Resident Services Manager and Butler team in this respect

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Records guest and staff laundry lists accurately

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fully complies with Opera system requirements, by posting bills accurately and on time

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure that guest supplies are in stock

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist聽 Laundry Manager in assessing staff attendance and performance

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists Laundry Manager in the processing of all departmental paperwork

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist Laundry Manager in taking proper inventories and quality checks

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Training the team in LQA standards

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conducts daily briefings with staff

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proper fillings of all laundry reports

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Regular check all laundry machinery ensuring all filters are cleaned regularly and press covers are in good condition; reports any machine defects to Engineering

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure staff are using laundry equipment properly and keeping them in good condition

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist and liaise with Housekeeping Manager regarding the laundering of sundry guest room items e.g. net curtains, cushion covers

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Liaise with Linen/Uniform Room Supervisor re: processing of Linens and Uniforms

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keep a strict control of items sent for laundering by staff members

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complies with hotel鈥檚 health, safety and hygiene policy

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Adheres to personal grooming and hygiene standards

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fully understands the difference of guest levels (VIP)

Qualifications

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Post Secondary education

Personal Attributes

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to lead and manage a team and have previous experience of doing so

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of Opera Property Management System would be desirable

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
