Job Description

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Provide information about laundry services, pricing, and turnaround time.
  • Assist customers with drop-off and pick-up of laundry items and coordinate with laundry staff to ensure timely processing and delivery of laundry items.
  • Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and request restocking as needed.
  • Sorting laundry items by category.
  • Maintain organized records of customer orders, invoices/tickets for laundry orders.
  • Update and maintain customer database and assist in scheduling and coordinating laundry services.
  • Keep the laundry desk area clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Lifting of objects more than 20 lbs. on a daily basis.
  • Knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using computer applications and software.
