Inspiring us to create warm and sophisticated experiences for those seeking a richer perspective on the world.<br><br>Phoenicia InterContinental Hotel in Beirut is looking to hire a Laundry Agent.<br><br>Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Phoenicia InterContinental hotel with 446 rooms and suites and 33 apartments, along with 4 F&B outlets, and one of the largest banquet facilities in Lebanon.<br><br><strong>A little taste of your day-to-day:<br><br></strong>Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:<br><ul><li>Laundry Operations: Sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and store hotel linens, guest clothes, and uniforms following established procedures.</li><li>Stain Removal: Identify and treat stains on different fabrics using appropriate techniques and products.</li><li>Equipment and Inventory Management: Operate laundry equipment, report maintenance needs, and keep track of supplies.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and appearance, reprocess if necessary.</li><li>Guest Service: Handle guest laundry requests promptly and professionally, ensuring accurate tracking and delivery.</li><li>Collaboration: Coordinate with other hotel departments for timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms.</li><li>Safety and Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling and equipment usage.</li><li>Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and generate reports as needed.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We need from you:<br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale laundry facility.</li><li>Familiarity with laundry equipment.</li><li>Physical stamina for lifting heavy items.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What you can expect from us:<br><br></strong>We give our people everything they need to succeed.
