<p>Samaya Electronics, part of the Methode Electronics, Inc. is a leading global supplier of custom-engineered solutions with sales, engineering and manufacturing locations in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. We design, engineer, and produce mechatronic products for OEMs utilizing our broad range of technologies for user interface, LED lighting, power distribution, and sensor applications.</p><p><br></p><p>The Launch Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful launch of new products into production for the Egypt Plant. This includes leading cross-functional teams in the development, planning, and execution of all launch activities to ensure that the manufacturing processes are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead cross-functional teams in the development, planning, and execution of all launch activities for the EMEA region, including manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain</li><li>Develop and implement launch plans and timelines specific to the Egypt Plant to ensure on-time and on-budget launches</li><li>Identify and manage risks to the launch in the Egypt Plant, including developing and implementing contingency plans as needed</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize the manufacturing process and ensure that quality standards are met for the Egypt Plant</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Egypt Plant, including internal teams, suppliers, and customers</li><li>Ensure that all launch activities in the Egypt Plant comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements specific to the region</li><li>Support EMEA Teams with customer escalations related to Launch &amp; Program Delivery</li></ul><p><br></p><p>What are we looking for in an Ideal candidate:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing- Automotive OEM experience preferred.</li><li>Strong project management skills and experience managing complex projects.</li><li>Experience with launch planning and execution in the EMEA region, including budget management and risk mitigation</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management in the EMEA region</li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and supply chain management specific to the EMEA region</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in the EMEA region</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in the EMEA region</li><li>Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus</li><li>Desirable Project Management Certification (PMP OR PRINCE)</li></ul>
