<p><span>The label manager will perform a wide range of tasks within the industry, and liaise with the respective to teams to facilitate marketing, promotion, </span><span>publicity, distribution,&nbsp;merchandising,&nbsp;licensing,&nbsp;social media management, and tour planning for its roster.</span></p><p><span>He/she will coordinate the activities of departments and individuals in order to guide musical projects from the early planning stages through to implementation.</span></p><p><span>For each release, the label manager creates and implements an overarching schedule and budget.</span></p><p><span>The label manager is largely concerned with finances and operations but should be focused as well on strategy Artists &amp; Repertoire.</span></p><p><span>The candidate must be organized, efficient, detail-oriented, diplomatic, and communicative. Delegation and supervision are key to successful management; however, the label manager will be expected to get involved in the finer details of project planning and coordination with their teams as appropriate.
