<strong>Project title: </strong> Technical Assistance Facility for the Institutional Capacity Building of the Government of Lebanon in social protection<p><br></p><strong> Brief description: </strong> The purpose of this contract is the provision of technical expertise to build a unified registry for social protection in Lebanon, with a specific focus on aligning the selection criteria for beneficiaries and the verification of their eligibility among different social assistance programmes in Lebanon, including the NPTP and the World Bankβs ESSN; ensure monitoring and oversight control for assistance programmes provided to Syrian refugees, with a view to further aligning the criteria of eligibility for social assistance for Lebanese and refugees.<p><br></p><strong> Commencement date of the project: </strong> October 2023<p><br></p><strong> Qualifications and skills: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> University degree in computer sciences, computer engineering or software engineering . </li><li> Proficiency in various database languages or software </li><li> Experience working in Lebanon or other EU Southern Neighborhood countries is an asset </li><li> Excellent communication skills in English </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> General professional experience: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Preferably 8 years of MIS and information technology management experience </li><li> Knowledge of MIS server and hardware requirements </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Specific professional experience: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Proven experience in developing MIS for social protection / social assistance / social welfare </li><li> Proven experience in linking MIS for the social sector with other relevant MISs of public administration and/or donors </li><li> Proven experience in the review or development of system requirements and specifications, including preparation of ICT hardware specifications for procurement purposes </li><li> Experience in training staff in system development and implementation is an advantage</li></ul>
