SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Job Summary
Manage and execute operational purchasing tasks in line with Group Purchasing policies, principles, guidelines and procedures for Indirect Materials in close cooperation with local stakeholders, in support of the company’s business targets.
MEIA Graduate Program
This program aims at developing local talents through in-depth assessment and development plan with coach assigned and 1 to 3 months assignment to other Jotun unit to learn best practices. This is a full-time job based in Jotun Abu Dhabi Office.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and plan the requirement for Indirect Materials categories based on close dialogue with relevant user departments
- Source, select and approve suppliers for Indirect Materials categories (including supplier audits when relevant)
- Support user departments in ensuring optimal Indirect Materials’ specifications are in place
- Ensure best possible agreements for designated Indirect Materials categories by following the Tactical Purchasing Process and utilizing relevant contract formats
- Implement and follow up global or regional agreements
- Place and follow up orders in Matrix system based on agreements
- Execute invoice control, according to company guidelines
- Implement the Category Management Concept for selected Indirect Material categories

Candidate specifications:
– Emarati national as part of the Emiratization Program ( Government Initiative)
– Fresh graduates with 0-3 years of experience in Purchasing field
– Bachelor’s Degree preferably in supply chain or Business Adminsitration
– Good verbal and written communication in English language
