We are not only focused on achieving business goals but also personal goals; providing you with room to grow is important to us.<p><br></p>Let’s do this together!<p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p>The role of the Junior Project Engineer is to ensure liaison between the Production and Project Manager and the technical disciplines involved in a project. Working within an integrated team across multiple Oil and Gas facilities, the Junior Project Engineer will focus on the following:<p><br></p><ul><li>Interfacing with integrated team to work collaboratively;</li><li>Review documents developed by the engineering consultant against both Company and the applicable industrial standards, Budget, Project Execution Plan, Commissioning document, and any other project related documents;</li><li>Work with Company’s Procurement team, the engineering consulting company and the Production and Project Manager to develop and/or review Material Requisition forms, technical and commercial bid evaluations and all procurement processes;</li><li>Provide supports to the construction team during the field execution. Travel to site may be required;</li><li>Ensure Project deliverables align with company requirements;</li></ul><p><br></p><u>Responsibilities &amp; tasks</u><p><br></p>Assist Production and Project Manager with:<ul><li>Developing &amp; monitoring scopes of work;</li><li>Developing and updating project schedule, cost estimates and cost control;</li><li>Facilitating Project and Construction &amp; Risk Management meetings;</li><li>Project progress reporting insisting in status updates updating actions, issues and risks logs;</li><li>Preparation of RFQ &amp; ITT documentation in collaboration with Engineering contractor & Construction teams;</li><li>Oversee the review of project equipment and services technical bid submissions;</li><li>MOC implementation and updating;</li><li>Organizing project meetings &amp; completing minutes of meetings between both internal and external parties;</li><li>Apply continual learning, lesson learned and knowledge to each task to achieve outcomes required;</li><li>Perform design calculations including hydraulic line sizing calculations, mechanical piping stress calculations, PSV sizing, equipment sizing for various unit processes and also provide the associated documentation;</li><li>Simulate and follow up process performances (Hysys) and propose optimizations;</li><li>Develop engineering design drawings, reports, construction documents, and Client required forms;</li><li>Develop and check Plot Plans, P&amp;IDs, Piping Plans, and isometric drawings;</li><li>Any other tasks or duties as required/assigned by Production and Project Managers to meet business needs;</li><li>Exhibit behaviors aligned with Mazarine’s culture:</li><ul><li>Take pride in completing activities with excellence and deliver on promises;</li><li>Seek out new ideas and perspectives to bring ideas and solutions;</li><li>Perform the role, knowing positions are interdependent and sharing success as one team;</li><li>Be committed to solicit and embrace useful feedback to help learning and growth;</li><li>Build strong relationships and mutual trust with our partners and customers. </li></ul></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;</li><li>Ability to work effectively with personnel on the field site while based in the office Tunis;</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary engineering deliverables for project execution specific to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries;</li><li>An Engineering Diploma or degree in one of the following areas:</li><ul><li>Instrumentation Electrical Engineering;</li><li>Mechanical Engineering;</li><li>Process/ Chemical Engineering (or similar);</li></ul><li>Experience reading/understanding P&amp;IDs;</li><li>Experience with engineering project deliverables and project execution phases;</li><li>Experience in execution of small or sustainable projects in a brownfield environment is a plus;</li><li>High proficiency with MS Office suite of products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project;</li><li>Familiarity with MS project / Primavera and or HYSYS is preferred;</li><li>Minimum 1- 3 Years experience;</li><li>PMP designation is a plus.</li></ul>
