Job Description
The Junior Field Engineer is in charge of the preparation and supervision of technical operations carried out onsite in the frame of the Oil and Gas production of Mazarine’s concessions. Your role will include (but not be limited to): production follow up and optimization, well interventions, process monitoring, integrity management, data quality check, coordination, reporting, etc.
You are a dynamic and multidisciplinary engineer with a good awareness of risks linked to oil and gas operations.
Responsibilities & tasks
Contribute to all production activities for Mazarine Energy in Tunisia in accordance to our HSSE standards; Actively monitor all operational and production activities+ Oil and gas production per well
+ Oil and gas production processed and exported
+ Oil storage
+ Process parameters (Pressure, Temperature…)
+ Ensure proper Flow Assurance & sampling and propose solutions when necessary;
Ensure proper production reporting (daily, weekly and monthly) and be responsible for data quality; Help prepare and supervise well intervention operations (slickline, wireline, CT, Well Testing, …) and ensure proper monitoring of Well Integrity; Strong involvement in the process safety;+ Ensure ESD diagram is up to date and implemented;
+ Good understanding of process diagrams (P&IDs, PFDs, BFDs);
+ Familiar with process safety standards and practices;
+ Help review the Management of Change in case of a process modification or upgrade;
+ Help prepare procedure in case of a necessary Shut Down;
+ Propose process upgrades and debottlenecking if and when necessary;
+ Prepare and supervise interventions on process;
+ Follow up metering systems maintenance and certifications;
+ Follow of pipelines maintenance and integrity.
Ensure accurate cost control on:+ Purchase requests made for production purposes;
+ Chemical consumption levels and associated requests;
+ Propose solutions for cost optimisations.
Ensure the implementation of PTW/JSA in all well intervention jobs in compliance with HSSE policies; Interact with all technical disciplines including geosciences, reservoir, drilling and facility engineers; To identify and propose solutions to accelerate or maximise field recoveries including preparation/supervision of all documentation required for approvals; Complete post well intervention assessment, to ensure continual improvement; All other relevant and reasonable duties required by the company in accordance with this position, including but not limited to:+ Support technical department from the office according to needs;
+ Support project managers in the development of new projects;
+ Ensure interim of Field Manager (contingent to experience).
Qualifications
An Engineering Diploma or degree in one of the following areas:+ Instrumentation Electrical Engineering;
+ Mechanical Engineering;
+ Process/ Chemical Engineering (or similar);
1-3 years’ experience in production and / or process engineering preferred; Excellent proficiency with MS Office suite of products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint,..; IWCF level 4 (optional); Excellent planning and leadership abilities; Ability to work on day and night shifts; Ability to work in company’s different locations; Languages: Arabic, English, French.
Additional Information
The position is based in Mazarine Tunisia’s field location on 14 days ON / 14 days OFF regime with occasional missions in the Tunis office.
You report to the Field Manager.
