<strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p>VAM Systems is currently looking for Junior Application Support officer – SQL for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:<p><br></p><strong>Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> 0-2 years’ experience in business analysis and application support. </li><li> Experience in working in a small to medium team size to deliver successful projects. </li><li> Ability to communicate with business and technical teams efficiently. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. </li><li> Background in development and SQL</li><li> Knowledge in IT Service management like fresh service will be a plus</li></ul><p><br></p>KEY COMPETENCIES<p><br></p>Technical:<p><br></p><ul><li> Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues</li><li> Ability to understand the documentation requirements of requests and problems</li><li> Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal</li><li> Ability to analyze user requirements proactively</li><li> Ability to decide on a reasonable plan to resolve issues and estimate the required efforts for it</li></ul><p><br></p>Behavioural:<p><br></p><ul><li> Practicing honesty and transparency at work. </li><li> The ability to communicate in a clear and effective way. </li><li> Willingness to share relevant thoughts, ideas, and key information to collaborate with other team members. </li><li> Effective problem solver who thinks outside the box when challenges or issues arise. </li><li> Work well under pressure and have a reasonable sense of responsibility. </li><li> Motivated to produce best possible results on tasks assigned. </li><li> Should be willing to work extra hours whenever required. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Responsible for troubleshooting all systems’ faults related to the organization’s systems and applications. </li><li> Perform system checks to ensure that reported bugs are fixed. </li><li> Perform the necessary data updates, under the supervision of the Application Support Lead to help fix issues. </li><li> Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues</li><li> Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams</li><li> Create reports of support activities KPIs and actively participate in enhancing the performance of the team. </li><li> Develop the technical knowledge to support all kinds of applications within the organization. </li><li> Any other responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time by line manager. </li><li> Troubleshooting and debugging performance issues. </li><li> Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers and internal users</li><li> Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time</li><li> Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after resolving the issue</li></ul><p><br></p>Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)<p><br></p>The Selected candidate shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Bahrain<p><br></p>Additional Information<p><br></p><strong>Terms and conditions:</strong><p><br></p><strong>Joining time frame:</strong> <strong>maximum 4 weeks</strong>
