<p>This role requires a solid understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes. The engineer will collaborate closely with design teams, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure successful execution of joinery projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include project planning, technical drawings and specifications, material selection, quality control, and on-site supervision to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of joinery installations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Project Planning: Collaborate with design teams and project managers to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines. Develop a comprehensive plan for each joinery project, including resource allocation, budget estimation, and procurement of materials.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to clarify design details and resolve any technical challenges.</li><li>Material Selection: Advise on the selection of appropriate wood species, finishes, hardware, and other materials required for joinery projects</li><li>On-Site Supervision: Oversee the installation process of joinery components at the project site. Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of joinery elements. Provide on-site guidance and supervision to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Address any installation-related issues, resolve conflicts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure the successful completion of joinery installations.</li><li>Collaborate with the logistics team to plan and coordinate the transportation of manufactured joinery goods from the factory to the project site. Ensure efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and adherence to delivery timelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures throughout the joinery projects, including the inspection of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished installations. Conduct thorough checks to ensure adherence to design specifications, standards, and regulations, while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.</li><li>Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of design changes, material specifications, inspections, and approvals. Prepare regular progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders, providing timely and clear information on project status, milestones, and potential risks.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience</li><li>1 – 3 years’ of experience as a project engineer or site engineer in Joinery Projects in UAE</li><li>Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Strong portfolio of delivering high quality construction projects</li></ul>
