<strong>Responsibilities<br></strong>Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is looking for an IT Support Engineer in Dubai.<br><ul><li> Taking ownership of logged customer issues and ensure that a solution is delivered. </li><li> Troubleshoot system, desktop/laptop and mobile problems, researching, diagnosing and solving hardware and software incidents. </li><li> Respond to logged support calls within service level targets and timely escalating of unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams. </li><li> Build new or replacement laptops/desktops for employees. </li><li> Provide end-user support for a wide range of IT related problems/concerns. </li><li> Windows Server and Network Administration including system backup. </li><li> Document technical knowledge in procedures, forms, etc. </li><li> Involvement in special projects as required. <br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br></strong><ul><li> Experience working in a similar position, preferably in a help desk environment. </li><li> Experience with Windows Administration and Networking. </li><li> ITIL tool experience for processing incidents and service requests. </li><li> Knowledge of Windows based computing – desktop and server operating systems, basic IP networking, Microsoft productivity applications (Office 365 etc.) and typical IT peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, copiers etc. </li><li> Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, maintenance of user and computer objects and access rights. </li><li> Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and data security principles. </li><li> Understanding of Cloud Technology (Azure) is an advantage. </li><li> Experience in PowerShell and/or SharePoint is an advantage. <br></li></ul><strong> Competences: <br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Computer Science is an advantage. </li><li> Excellent organizational skills with the proven ability to multitask in a busy environment. </li><li> Attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines. </li><li> Commitment to customer satisfaction, Self-improvement and initiative to improve systems and processes. </li><li> Strong team player who exercises initiative and independent judgement. </li><li> Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), other European languages are a preference. </li><li> Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with a professional telephone / virtual meeting behavior. </li><li> Willing and able to travel in Europe. <br></li></ul><strong>Diversity Statement<br></strong>At Hexagon, we believe that diverse and inclusive teams are critical to the success of our people and our business.
