Job Description
<strong>JOB PURPOSE <br><br></strong>Support the development of network topology, optimization of network functioning and design and implementation of network solutions whilst ensuring network security.<br><br><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<br><br></u></strong><strong>Strategic Planning<br></strong><ul><li> Maintain awareness of the strategy planning process.</li><li> Maintain knowledge of new and existing KPI requirements as an individual employee.</li><li> Corporate Performance Management</li><li> Achieve the goals/objectives of the function/functional tower.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Funcional Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li> Design and implement LAN and WAN based on the latest technologies and Security standards.</li><li> Document all network hardware, software and communication links across Company and its entities.</li><li> Support the configuration of network services internally and those integrated with Internet-based services.</li><li> Assist with the administration of network systems and servers, to ensure availability of services to authorized users.</li><li> Install and configure networks across the company and its entities.</li><li> Support the company with IP Telephony related implementations and support.</li><li> Manage the group buildings with wireless coverage and replace faulty access points.</li><li> Ensure the accurate implementation of patch management using automation tool sets.</li><li> Resolve any problems that arise with computer networks and systems.</li><li> Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, latency, etc.) and highlight an</li><li> Support the management of network/ server services and documentation.</li><li> Inspect communications room status (access control, lighting, cleanliness, UPS, temperature sensor, earthling, cooling, etc.)</li><li> Maintain network security devices – Firewall/ VPN gateway/Email gateway/Network access control.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Requirements<br><br></u></strong><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> in information technology or a related field<br><br><strong>UAE nationals</strong>: Minimum <strong>3-5 years</strong> of experience in IT Networks or related work experience<br><br>
