IT Service Continuity Analyst
OVERVIEW
The IT Service Continuity Analyst role within the Executive Director Office is an important role. this role will ensure that primary department functions. reporting output and key activities are managed in an efficient manner. In addition, the SC Analyst will provide coordination, administrative and supporting activity to the Service Continuity function and IT Executive Office Programme Management Specialist as required.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
β’ Perform a wide variety of Complex and confidential tasks to support key Service Continuity outputs Responsible for the facilitation coordination, monitoring and enhancement of Service Continuity operational processes
β’ Responsible for initiating and tracking activities related to Service continuity testing plan. Responsible for day-to-day management, development, enhancement, and accuracy of Service Continuity lifecycle tracking and cross departmental reporting outputs.
β’ Provide input and support to the development of testing exercises during various part of the Service
β’ Continuity process lifecycle.
β’ Coordination, custody and archiving of tender submission documentation and clarifications a
β’ required
β’ Ensure Service Continuity documental on are up to date and meet the deadlines of the Service Continuity annual plan such as continuity plan, focal points list, BIA, RPO/RTO & RTA.
β’ Responsible for maintaining a central repository of disaster recovery information artifacts, plans. test results, contact lists and other critical information required to manage an adverse event and keeping it up to date
β’ Responsible for developing documentation related to Service Continuity testing exercise. coordinate activities with internal team and 3rd party providers and others to plan, exercise and execute disaster recovery procedures
β’ Direct activities of 3rd party providers to ensure that regular updates are occurring to technology recovery standards and recovery procedures compliant with our underlying quality commitments. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure all established timelines are met for the Service Continuity activities.
β’ Assists Executive Office Programme Management Specialist in preparing and formatting documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
β’ General responsibilities also include administrative duties such as document management, coordination of meeting, workshop, minutes of meeting, keeping inventory of systems services and focal points, and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Office Programme Management Specialist.
