IT Operations and Infrastructure Services – Senior Manager
Job Description
<p>Responsibilities: </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop, maintain and provide technical expertise in order to transfer knowledge on operating systems and other infrastructure components.</li><li>Design, document, and maintain a set of solution patterns and ensure adherence.</li><li> Establish and maintain the architecture and standard technology products in order to enable consistent, reusable and efficient practices within Infrastructure Shared Services.</li><li>Ensure that solutions are placed on the appropriate platform and align with Enterprise Architecture direction.</li><li>Assess the compatibility and integration of products proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technology segments.</li><li>Communicate new and maintain a repository of IT standards/policies, changes or associated implementation requirements to affected stakeholders in order to ensure that resources are in place for effective and timely implementation, and that standard requirements are accessible to all stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor standards/policy compliance.</li><li>Communicate standards compliance results to stakeholders in order to (facilitate resolution) address issues with adherence to standards. </li><li>Consult with solution project teams in order to develop a solution design that is compliant with the architecture and standards of Infrastructure Shared Services.</li><li>Develop and maintain infrastructure technology roadmaps.</li><li>Evaluate and make recommendations on requests to use non-compliant technologies in order to promote standard compliance and reduce complexity.</li><li>Research emerging technologies and recommending those that will enable us to meet our business goals, increase cost effectiveness, and increase infrastructure flexibility</li><li>Maintain expertise in the area of architecture, including industry trends, strategies, and products</li><li>The ability to provide hands-on architectural expertise of complex solutions and lead technical projects to achieve successful delivery.</li><li>The ability to identify emerging technologies or trends that could impact the organization in the future</li><li>Able to participate in the development of infrastructure strategy, including technology modernization and standardization</li><li>Has the ability to develop design standards and guidelines.</li><li>Can develop detailed documentation on system, logical and physical architecture.</li><li>Has proven experience and ability in vendor management to provide the best service quality at optimal cost e.g. RFP’s, bidding, contracts, relationship.</li><li>Has the experience of managing large teams in remote locations and developing organizational capabilities in technical mastery and leadership skills.</li><li>Have experience in managing multi-millions SAR budget and able to recommend, execute, track and monitor forecast, savings and value creation to finance and leadership.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required skills and experience :</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Solid experience as an Infrastructure Architect, with concentration around servers, storage, networking (Cisco, Aruba),firewalls and private/public cloud technologies.</li><li>Solid experience in Microsoft products & Services including but not limited to (Exchange, 365 , Active Directory ….etc.)</li><li>Solid experience with high-availability technologies such as clustering, server load-balancing and virtualization</li><li>Must be well versed in and have experience with IT policies and procedures, technology standards, protocols, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)</li><li>10+ years of experience</li></ul>
