<p>The Information technology officer is responsible for carrying out and maintaining all network and server related activities to meet the organization current and future requirements. He/she will be responsible for following up with the providers of digital lines and Internet lines to ensure the best services</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>Implements the policies and procedures of the organization as a whole and the IT department in particular in a manner that ensures the quality and efficiency of the operation. </li><li>Studies and understands current IT systems, determines how to enter, store, manipulate data and map data flow to ensure efficient and practical IT service </li><li>Contributes in coordination with the information technology supervisor in determining the specifications and quantities of cables and technical devices from networks, computers and accessories and to install them and define them within the different departments and locations of the organization to ensure using the best cables and technical devices. </li><li>Identifies detailed requirements for the development of existing networks and develop and design parts of the network to accommodate any additional requirements, new technology or growth in workload, at an acceptable cost. </li><li>Manages your organization’s internal networks, ensures their suitability, and performs routine startup and shutdown routines. </li><li>Determines the specifications of the main server, manages and develops it periodically and continuously to suit the needs of the business. </li><li>Effectively implements preventive maintenance programs to avoid interruptions in the work, or stop performing tasks. </li><li>Prepares a list of the needs of the organization of the maintenance equipment for the internal network and computers and accessories periodically and bring it to the supervisor to avoid interruptions in the work, or stop performing tasks. </li><li>Implements the regulations, procedures, and guidelines adopted at work to ensure their compliance to JRF’s policies. </li><li>Undertakes any tasks or responsibilities mandated by the direct manager and within the scope of the work to perform the role. </li><li>Contributes to assess the current IT systems to measure their current ability to meet the administrative and technical needs of the Organization by carrying out experiments on computer equipment, hardware, and computer network. </li><li>Contributes to the identification of the risks of IT applications and participate in the development of plans to maintain the continuity of IT applications. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Self-Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role</li><li>Sets performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the Reporting Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year</li><li>Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Reporting Manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended</li><li>Ensures detailed and accurate documentation and reporting relating to the requirements of the function.</li><li>Manages, priorities and organizes self, relating to additional tasks requested by Shared Services Management to support the Foundation achieve its business plan. Manages, prioritizes and organizes self, relating to additional tasks requested by Function Management to support the Foundation achieve its business plan.</li><li>Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by management from time to time</li><li>Uphold the code of conduct and PSEA-related policies to ensure the adherence to HR Policies</li><li>Actively participate in SEA-related trainings and awareness-raising efforts, including support for dissemination of PSEA materials to ensure the adherence to HR Policies</li><li>Report allegations of SEA through the designated reporting channels to ensure the adherence to HR Policies</li><li>Participate in investigations of SEA allegations as appropriate to ensure the adherence to HR Policies</li><li>Identify and mitigate/avoid SEA-related programmer risks (particularly for personnel involved in programming) to ensure the adherence to HR Policies</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of IT . </li><li>Certificates in IT such as MCSE/ CCNA/ Microsoft is preferred .</li><li>Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).</li><li>3-5 years Years of experience.</li><li>Extensive hands on experience in IT matters.</li></ul>
