Sarmad, a leading banking institution, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Manager Release Management to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our software release process to ensure that new releases are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure that our releases are high-quality and meet our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of planning and executing successful releases.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Review and ensure requests for change (RFCs) are documented </li><li>Define the release management procedure, processes and policy</li><li>Categorize change requests based on defined policy and procedure</li><li>Prioritize changes according to business needs for project releases</li><li>Managing the project-based releases from the development team to operations</li><li>Managing the implementation of project-based changes</li><li>Mediate conflicts related to the change where necessary</li><li>Coordinate and circulate the project-based release schedule</li><li>Convene the change advisory board (CAB) meetings in the absence of Manager Change Management office</li><li>Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) after implementation of project-based releases</li><li>Report all the project-based releases to management in regular basis</li><li>Validate the integrity of project-based release packages for deployment</li><li> Evaluating the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk </li><li> Support and contribute in managing the change portfolio, which allows the organization to prepare for and successfully adopt the change </li><li> Authorize minor and major change requests </li><li>Chair Change Advisory Board in the absence of Manager Change Management office </li><li>Contribute to department level annual plans and administrative activities including availability of resources and capabilities</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology</li><li>5 to 7 years’ experience</li><li>ITIL Certification (must)</li><li>PMP training or certification (preferable not a must)</li><li>Knowledge of software development lifecycle</li><li>Knowledge of operating systems and databases</li><li>Knowledge of process management</li><li>Knowledge of Quality control</li><li>Team leadership</li><li>Task management and prioritization</li><li>Teamwork engagement</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Benefits</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Attractive salaries</li><li>Social & Medical insurance</li><li>Healthy environment</li></ul>
