<strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p><strong> Position </strong><p><br></p><strong> IT Manager – Port and Logistics </strong><p><br></p><strong> Job Code </strong><p><br></p><strong> Reports to </strong><p><br></p><strong> Senior Project Manager – Port and Logistics </strong><p><br></p><strong> Direct Reports </strong><p><br></p><strong> Project Engineers </strong><p><br></p><strong> Division </strong><p><br></p>Electrical, Instrumentation and Technology<p><br></p><strong> Sector </strong><p><br></p><strong> NIC Projects </strong><p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Manage the execution of the agreed plan for the development of the Port IT Works. </li><li> Liaise with design teams to develop project delivery plan, RFP, schedule, deliverables, cost estimates and risk &amp; value management plan. </li><li> Participate in tender and contractor selection process. </li><li> Oversee the construction management teams to ensure delivery of IT Infrastructure against agreed project aims and objectives. </li><li> Oversea the construction management and contractor to ensure compliance with the NEOM IT standards. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Engage with stakeholders to obtain a clear handover of functional requirements to move forward confidently with project implementation. </li><li> Engaged and manage the PMC to clearly identify and document risk management, interface management and package management plans. Participate in constructability analysis, project design reviews, appraisal and risk &amp; value identification. </li><li> Participate in the development of Project Execution Plans, which should be leveraged to draw up effective contracts to communicate project requirements to the implementation teams. </li><li> Oversee the assembly of project teams and professional consultants and manage their input through the construction process. </li><li> Report construction status (schedule, cost, and quality) to project delivery, and ensure the continuing development of schedule master plans through the detailing of periodic work-plans and progress trackers. </li><li> Drive best value decision-making to ensure construction moves forward, minimising delays and setbacks in the drive to attain Project KPI’s. </li><li> Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to identify technology needs, anticipate future requirements, and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. </li><li> Supervise the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and cloud services. Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support the organization’s operations. </li><li> Establish and enforce robust security protocols and policies to safeguard the company’s data, networks, and systems from potential threats and breaches. Monitor security measures, conduct regular risk assessments, and stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends. </li><li> Manage and mentor the IT team, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team operates cohesively to deliver high-quality IT services. </li><li> Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently to meet operational requirements. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality. </li><li> Help develop and implement disaster recovery plans and backup procedures to minimize data loss and downtime during critical events. </li><li> Identify opportunities for technology upgrades and lead the implementation of new systems or software to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. </li><li> Stay informed about relevant IT regulations and compliance standards.
