We are a destination.<br><br>Are you ready to join our pre-opening team to lay the foundations for us to disrupt and build a culture that changes the stay experience complimented by views that will leave everyone in awe!<br><br><strong>What do we want from you?<br><br></strong>We’re looking for someone with tenacity, a positive attitude, boundless energy and some Hotel Indigo swagger. You’ll be an integral member of the hotel’s management team, providing support.<br><br>This is a pre-opening role where you will work hand-in-hand with the corporate IT team and our providers to ensure all aspects of our technology requirements are configured to work seamless with each other. You will ensure that reliable hardware and software are at the heart of every day-to-day IHG experience. You will be required to deliver a truly first-class service, and capable of installing new systems, boosting security, and setting exceptional standards. All of this while making sure our teams have all the tools and resources, they need to make a difference, right at their fingertips.<br><br>You’ll report directly to the General Manager leading the IT function for the hotel and ideally possess the following:<br><ul><li>Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT or related field </li><li>4 years’ related experience with computer set-up and troubleshooting </li><li>Working knowledge of networks, operating systems, and databases</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Knowledge in PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) </li><li>Great communication skills </li><li>You’ll be a team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure<br><br></li></ul><strong>Your day to day<br><br></strong>Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:<br><ul><li>Our primary contact for servicing our computer hardware, making sure systems are installed properly and working efficiently and regularly reporting back to the GM, Director of Finance and Business Support and Area IT Leader</li><li>Keeping up to date with all our approved systems and technology – from LAN to POS</li><li>Maintaining hardware and software performance, digital and physical security standards and evaluating vendor proposals </li><li>Passing on your expertise to the hotel team by running knowledge sharing and training sessions</li><li>Safeguarding our IT infrastructure against cyberthreats<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong>Join our extraordinary world and experience a place where you can be yourself, share your ideas, support your personal growth and wellbeing, and be a valued member of an inspirational team.<br><br>We’ll reward all your hard work with competitive salary and benefits.<br><br>Join us and you’ll become part of the global IHG family – and like all families, all our individual team members share some winning characteristics.
