Job Description
The successful individual will own the following responsibilities:
– Lead and manage IT audit assignments for Assurance clients including planning, coordinating audit scope with engagement teams, communicating with clients, and reporting the audit observations.
– Analyze the IT environment of Assurance clients and support the engagement teams to arrive at the audit approach effectively by demonstrating a thorough understanding of complex information systems.
– Analyze business, financial and IT systems, and other data processing problems to identify risks and improvements in IT controls and processes.
– Ensure high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing EMs of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
– Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with audit staff, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
– Review audit files by offering recommendations for improvement and formulating review points. Assist staff in making necessary corrections and ensure in-depth understanding of review points.
– Ensure thorough project documentation and maintain electronic filing / back up in accordance with BDO guidelines.
– Obtain and provide consistent and constructive feedback.
