Job Description

Job Summary :

The jobholder is responsible to make sure any project/feature to go live is well tested (manual & automation where possible) to meet the business requirements and add value to business. Should be willing to take responsibility for the projects to deliver the quality output.

•Define and execute the testing and QA processes.

•Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.

•To be able to automate, sanity, regression and load tests on web and mobile applications where possible.

•Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.

•Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

•Write, document and execute manual test plans and related test cases.

•Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

•Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.

Skills

  • Hands on experience on UI & webservice manual validation across the platforms – Web, M-web, Mobile apps (IOS & Android) of digital/omnichannel landscape systems by following STLC process.
  • Experience – 4 to 8 years
  • Hands on Experience on Magento/commerce tools would be plus.
  • Ability to communicate QA metrics, risks and project status to management team, tech & business stake holders.
  • Interact closely with developers offering suggestions and ideas for improving the quality of brands
  • Preparing, prioritizing the testcases for sprint & release validation and review the testcases prepared by fellow team members
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Hands on Experience in Test automation and respective tools & libraries
  • Web – selenium
  • Mobile apps – Appium (Mandatory)
  • Defect management
  • Project management – Asana or similar
  • Test/Testcase management
  • Unit testing framework – TestNG or similar
  •  API/webservices – postman, Rest assured or similar.
  • Programming language – Java
  • Design patterns
  • BDD – Cucumber
  • Git/CICD – Bitbucket, Jenkins or Similar
  • Hands on experience on POS validation,Non-Functional – Performance testing, Security testing, Accessibility testing would be plus
