<strong>Overview<br><br></strong>The Sales Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction to drive revenue, strategy and execution of sales initiatives to ensure the attainment of BISSELL volume and profit objectives. This role leverages leadership, vision, support develop the overall account relationships including maintenance and development of new and existing business opportunities in the assigned regions.<br><br>The Sales will develop the current accounts and find new potential markets by assigning new distributor and will manage the account Sales & Budget.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><ul><li> Provides leadership and direction to associates through effective coaching, performance management and feedback and development. </li><li> Determine appropriate product range for the assigned regions. </li><li> Develop appropriate marketing plans for the market. </li><li> Responsible for annual budgeted sales and margins. </li><li> Update forecasts monthly (per corporate standard). </li><li> Form and maintain critical business relationships (i.e. retailers) to promote brand. </li><li> Meet or exceed overall financial metrics to include budget, gross margin/international and total sales </li><li> Manage payment terms in conjunction with appropriate corporate functions and communicate same to distribution </li><li> Work closely with the International Division in brand headquarters to ensure regional communications around all appropriate matters (i.e. product deliveries, packaging, quality, translation related issues, etc.) <br></li></ul><strong>Customer Relation Management<br></strong><ul><li> Maintain and develop trade customer account base through implementation of overall sales and marketing plan, account management and ongoing follow through. </li><li> Collaborate with key associates in Merchandising, Category teams, and Key Customer teams to develop market solutions, pricing and product offering strategy, and clear communication of full slaes programs. </li><li> Meet customer sales quotas. Must meet customer profit and EVA objectives as established by BISSELL. </li><li> Develop, manage and execute promotional programs and plans. Qualified candidate will have promotional budget responsibility. He/She will manage advertising budgets, determining most efficient means of spending funds while maintaining overall marketing goals as well as meeting customer expectations for retail movement of BISSELL products. </li><li> Leads effective communication of all retailer information throughout the organization including Marketing, Customer Service, and Retail Account Coordinators. </li><li> Management of the Sales Program and training team including, but not limited to; Sales program development, Pricing process, New Product Set-up, Merchandising Execution, New Product Ramping and Material Development. </li><li> Excellence in Execution; Provide strategic leadership and direction in the implementation of a detailed and driven product and program execution improvement plan. Drive “excellence in execution” through strong program development and management as the overall team lead for Sales. </li><li> Derivative process leadership; Lead key sales related elements for the derivative process. The ideal candidate will have experience in Consumer Durable Goods or Electronics selling to Mass, Electronics, DIY or Grocery accounts. </li><li> Strategic planning. </li><li> Team management.</li></ul>
