<br><strong>Description And Requirements</strong><p><br></p><strong> Position Description</strong><p><br></p>Lenovo is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Storage Technical Solutions Sales Specialist for Lenovo’s storage portfolio including block/file/AF array storage as well as software defined storage solutions. As a Lenovo Storage Technical Solutions Sales Specialist in Lenovo’s datacenter group you will collaborate with others in promoting Lenovo ISG solutions and products. You will employ your interpersonal skills with CTOs, IT decision makers, Lenovo pre-sales and sales teams, with Lenovo partners and ISVs to bring value to our customers. Your objectives will be in the development of Lenovo’s data center opportunities through the sales cycle, from understanding customer business and technical requirements, building the solution architecture and bringing the opportunity up to a closing by demonstrating customer value. You will be leading in the enablement our data center partners, preparing RFI and RFP responses, presenting solutions and carrying out proofs of concept.<p><br></p><strong> Roles &amp; Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making</li><li> Defining and identifying Data Management projects (on-prem, hybrid cloud and in public cloud) by acting as a trusted advisor to the allocated territory coverage</li><li> Developing a pipeline of new Software defined Datacenter and/or Storage infrastructure business within aligned territories</li><li> Passionately bring to light the advantages of a Lenovo ISG Storage / Data Management solution</li><li> Growing and maintaining customer relationships to Technical Director level and above.</li><li> Keeping customers and partners up to date with new technologies and innovations relevant to their industry</li><li> Identifying customer projects and interpreting their technical requirements</li><li> Have the ability to build effective and valuable solutions working with the wider specialist product and technical community, the sales teams and business partners as appropriate, to support winning the business.</li><li> Lead and/or provide Technical Input to Tenders/ RFIs/RFPs</li><li> Gathers information to develop an accurate understanding of customer technology infrastructure</li><li> Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations with vigor to customers and lock in the technical win with clients and prospective accounts</li><li> Able to progress opportunities effectively, even autonomously</li><li> Delight customers, partners and teammates with your technical leadership and domain expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the DAS, NAS and SAN product spaces</li><li> Proactively supports the account teams with product advice, presentations, proposal support</li><li> Move with market trends and competitive landscape to promote thought leadership within our organization</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Position Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Significant experience supporting enterprise sales of Converged solution (storage, networking, virtualization) or Storage solution to large enterprise accounts</li><li> Thorough understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of modern IT systems and cloud infrastructures</li><li> Demonstrate a broad understanding of trends &amp; technologies for storage and software defined storage solutions</li><li> Able to create and present Lenovo sales and technical solutions to senior level clients within the customer and clearly articulate the value proposition to the customer</li><li> Commercial awareness of the local Competitive Market, business partner objectives and the customer industry environment, preferably in the storage market/industry</li><li> Able to develop SAN/NAS/Object Storage storage architectures dependent on the application or workload requirements</li><li> Demonstrable experience in any three of the following infrastructure technologies:</li><li>Enterprise Storage, including Software defined Storage (e.g., Pure, Dell, NetApp)</li><li>Vmware Virtualization (ESXi, vCloud Director, vRealize, vSAN)</li><li>Hybrid Cloud Technologies and Cloud Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)</li><li>All-Flash Storage</li><li>Software defined and Object Storage</li><li>Data Protection technologies</li><li> Excellent verbal and written communication in English language</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Personal Specifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Entrepreneurial Mindset with self-starting capability</li><li> Highly effective technical skills with strong sales acumen</li><li> Comfortable and able to deliver formal and/or ad hoc presentations to customer</li><li> Problem solver and decision-maker applying creativity in developing new approaches and solutions</li><li> Can embrace a fast paced and ever changing environment</li><li> Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honors personal commitments</li><li> Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace</li><li> Be proactive + quick; bold + innovative in all you do</li><li> Willing to travel to customer sites within selected region</li></ul><p><br></p><em>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.</em><p><br></p><strong>Additional Locations</strong>:<p><br></p><ul><li> Saudi Arabia – Riyadh – Riyadh</li><li> Saudi Arabia</li><li> Saudi Arabia – Riyadh</li><li> Saudi Arabia – Riyadh – Riyadh</li></ul>
